CHILE

I spent an incredible four months studying Latin American Art + History in Santiago, Chile. While there, I had the opportunity to travel to many places all along the North and South of the country. Chile definitely has a forever-place in my heart and I would love to go back.

Santiago was my first time living in a "big city", and it absolutely made me fall in love with cities. Taking the subway and going to new neighborhoods, spending endless hours exploring the streets and museums, and getting to know the amazing Chileans. Si, po'!

My top recommendations:

Puerto Varas as your base to explore the lakes region

Torres del Paine - the five day treck (the W circuit), is one of my top favorite experiences in life. Incredible clarity can come when your only "job" is to walk to the next destination.

Cajon del Maipo - so many beautiful places to camp, so many vineyards, and so close to Santiago

Valparaiso - must visit one of Pablo Neruda's homes, Isla Negra. I am forever inspired by his poetry.

The Ataama Desert/ San Pedro
